However, the Texas Department of Justice does NOT allow individuals to mail such items directly to inmates.

They must be sent from the publisher or distributor.

Please consider taking the time to order a book or magazine to help Michael pass the time while he waits on death row.

Ordering Instructions:

Magazines and newspapers must be sent directly from the publisher.

Purchasing a "gift subscription" is usually the easiest way to do this.

The State of Texas has strict rules regarding magazines and they change frequently.

Magazines deemed sexually explicit or violent, are banned.

Before subscribing to any magazine, please call the Polunsky Unit at 936-967-8082 for verification. Ask to speak to the "mail room."
